The Heartoworm CHW Ehrlichia EHR Anaplasma ANA Combo Rapid Test is a combined cassette to differentially diagnose the presence of Heartoworm Antigen,Ehrlichia Antibod,Anaplasma Antibody and Lyme Antibody in dog’s serum , plasma or whole blood specimen.

Heartoworm

Anaplasma

Ehrlichia is a bacterial infection that causes fever, bleeding, reduced appetite, and sluggish behavior in dogs. Ticks transmit the disease to dogs. Though it may happen everywhere, the tropics are where it happens most commonly. Given how bad the disease may be, treatment could take months. Prevention is essential since this infection can be fatal.

These microbes live within ticks. When these ticks bite your dog, the bacteria in their saliva can make them sick. There are several tick species that can transmit this illness. The four most common ticks are the brown dog tick, lone star tick, American dog tick, and black-legged tick. Ticks can transmit a disease after staying attached to your dog for several hours.

The Heartoworm CHW Ehrlichia EHR Anaplasma ANA Combo Rapid Test is based on sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. 

This pet test device can be stored at room temperature (4-30°C). The test kit is stable through the expiration date (24 months) marked on the package label. 

DO NOT FREEZE. 

Do not store the kit in direct sunlight.

1. Specimen should be obtained and treated as below.

- Serum or plasma: collect the whole blood for the patient cat, centrifuge it to get the serum, or place the whole blood into a tube which contains anticoagulants to get plasma.

- Whole blood: collect fresh blood for use directly or make anticoagulant blood for storage at 2-8℃ .

   2. All specimen should be tested immediately. If not for testing right now, they should be stored at 2-8℃ . 

• Allow all materials, including specimen and Heartoworm CHW Ehrlichia EHR Anaplasma ANA Combo Rapid Test device, recover to 15-25℃ before running the assay.

• Take out the device from the foil pouch and place it horizontally.

CHW Ag

Using the capillary dropper to place 10μL of the prepared specimen into the sample hole “S” of the device. Then drop 3 drops (approx. 90μL) of the assay buffer into the sample hole immediately. 

EHR Ab/ANA Ab

Collect 20μL of the prepared specimen into a vial of assay buffer and mix well. Then drop 3 drops (approx. 120μL) of the diluted sample into the sample hole “S” of the test card. Interpret the result in 5-10 minutes. Result after 10 minutes is considered as invalid.

 

 

 

 

• Positive (+): The presence of both “C” line and zone “T”line, no matter T line is clear or vague

• Negative (-): Only clear C line appear. No T line

• Invalid: No colored line appears in C zone. No matter if T line appears.
