Intended Use

Canine Ehrlichia Anaplasma Babesia Heartworm Combo Rapid Test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of Ehrlichia canis antibodies (EHR), Anaplasma spp antibodies (ANA) , Babeis gibsoni antibodies (BAB) and Heartworm (CHW) antigens in dog's serum, plasma and specimen.

Principle

This pet rapid test kit based on sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay.

The card has a testing window for the observation of assay running and result reading.
The device window has an invisible T (test) zone and a C (control) zone before running the assay.
When the treated sample was applied into each sample hole on the Canine Ehrlichia Anaplasma Babesia Heartworm Combo Rapid Test device, the liquid will laterally flow through the surface of the test strip and react with the pre-coated Ehrlichia, Anaplasma, Babeis gibsoni recombinant antigens and heartworm antibodies respectively.
If there are Ehrlichia, Anaplasma, Babeis gibsoni antibodies and Heartworm antigens in the specimen, a visible T line will appear.
The C line should always appear after a sample is applied, which indicates a valid result.
By this means, the device can accurately indicate the presence of Ehrlichia, Anaplasma, Babeis gibsoni, antibodies and Heartworm antigens in the specimen.

ANA

Detection Steps

Allow the Canine Ehrlichia Anaplasma Babesia Heartworm Combo Rapid Test device, specimen, buffer, and/or controls to equilibrate to room temperature (15-30 °C) prior to testing.

Specimen should be obtained and treated as below. Serum or plasma: collect the whole blood from the patient dog, centrifuge it to get the plasma, or place the whole blood into a tube which contains anticoagulants to get serum. Take out the device card from the foil pouch and place it horizontally.
Place 10 μL of the prepared specimen into the sample well, matching the window CHW. Then drop 3 drops (approx 100 μ L) of assay buffer CHW into the sample well. Start the timer.

3. Collect 20 μ L of the prepared specimen into a vial of EHR-ANA-BAB assay buffer and mix well. Then drop 3 drops (approx. 120μL) of the diluted sample into the sample well "S" of the Canine Ehrlichia Anaplasma Babesia Heartworm Combo Rapid Test card, respectfully matching the windows EHR, ANA,BAB. Start the timer.

4. Interpret the result in 10 minutes. Result after 15 minutes is considered as invalid.

Interpretation of Result

Positive	Two lines appear on the Canine Ehrlichia Anaplasma Babesia Heartworm Combo Rapid Test device. One line should always appear in the control line region(C), and another one apparent colored line should appear in the test line region
Negative	One colored line appears in the control region(C).No apparent colored line appear in the test line region
Invalid	Control line fails to appear. Insufficient specimen volume or incorrect procedural techniques are the most likely reasons for control line failure
