Canine Ehrlichia Lyme Anaplasma Heartworm Combo Rapid Test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of Ehrlichia canis antibodies (EHR), Borrelia burgdorferi antibodies (LYM) and Anaplasma spp (ANA) antibodies and Heartworm (CHW) antigens in dog's serum, plasma and specimen.
Your veterinarian can do a single test to check for any number of the diseases listed below, including all of them: ehrlichiosis, anaplasmosis, Lyme disease, and heartworm disease.
The test device takes only a few minutes and requires only a small sample of your dog's blood.

Dirofilaria immitis is a parasitic worm that causes heartworm illness. These parasites are passed from dog to dog (as minute larvae) by the bite of an infected mosquito, where they eventually develop and multiply in the lungs and heart of canine hosts. Even though heartworm illness is not always fatal, some canines experience irreversible heart and lung damage, which may lead to heart failure and death.
Because ticks spread them when they bite and eat, Lyme disease, ehrlichiosis, and anaplasmosis are referred to as tick-borne illnesses. The same dog may become infected with Lyme disease, ehrlichiosis, and anaplasmosis at the same time since ticks can carry more than one of these illnesses and dogs can be bitten by several ticks.
These parasites are the source of all of these disorders. While Lyme disease, ehrlichiosis, and anaplasmosis are conveyed by ticks, heartworm disease is transferred by mosquitoes.

| Test Procedure |
Prior to testing, let the Canine Ehrlichia Lyme Anaplasma Heartworm Combo Rapid Test apparatus, sample, buffer, and/or controls acclimate to room temperature (15–30 °C).

A sample should be acquired and handled as described below. Serum or plasma can be obtained by taking the patient dog's whole blood, centrifuging it to obtain the plasma, or putting the whole blood into a tube containing anticoagulants to obtain the serum. The card should be placed horizontally after being removed from the foil bag.

In the sample well, add 10μL of the prepared specimen, matching the window CHW. The assay buffer CHW should then be added to the sample well in 3 drops (or around 100μL). Launch the timer.

20μL of the prepared material should be collected and well mixed with the EHR-ANA-LYM assay buffer in a vial. Start the timer after placing 3 drops (about 120 μL) of the diluted sample into the card's sample well "S," respectfully matching the windows EHR, ANA, and LYM.

In 10 minutes, explain the outcome. Results obtained after 15 minutes are deemed invalid.
