D Dimer Test Kit

The D Dimer Test Kit along with the HTY-100 PLUS/HTY-1600 Reader is a fluorescence immunoassay that quantifies the total D-Dimer concentration in human plasma.

Main Components:

1. D Dimer Test Kit Test Preparation:

• (1) Instruction for Use must be read carefully before taking the test. Allow the required test card and detection buffer to come to room temperature (20℃-30℃) before use. 

•  

• (2) Check and make sure that the LOT number of the test card, ID chip and detection buffer are the same. 

•  

• (3) Turn on the HTY-100 PLUS/HTY-1600 analyzer, and then insert the ID chip into the ID chip port of the analyzer. (Please refer to the HTY-100 PLUS/HTY-1600 analyzer Operation Manual for complete information and operating instructions.)

•  

• (4) Place the test card on a clean and level surface.

2. Test Procedure:

(1) Transfer 75μl of the plasma sample into the detection buffer tube using a pipette, and thoroughly mix the sample. (The combined samples have to be utilized right away.)

(2) Fill the test card's sample well with 75μl of the combined samples using a pipette.

(3) Give the combined samples five minutes to settle.

(4) Insert the test card into the analyzer's card holder and press it all the way in to begin scanning. Before inserting the test card into the card holder, be sure it is oriented correctly. The test card contains an arrow marked specifically for this reason.

(5) To begin the scanning procedure, click the "Start" button on the analyzer.

(6) View the test result on the HTY-100 PLUS analyzer's display screen, or print the results

• The linear range is from 0.05mg/L to 10mg/L with correlation coefficient of the standard curve not less than 0.9900.

• (1) Intra batch analysis precision

• Parallelly testing with quality control material of 1mg/L D-dimer for 10 times, Bias% ≤15%. 

• (2) Batch-to-batch variation Respectively take each one box of HIGHTOP D-Dimer from three consecutive batches, parallelly testing with quality control material of 1mg/L D-dimer for 10 times, CV% ≤ 20%.

A D Dimer test Kit is what ?

What causes blood to clot?

Your body produces fibrin threads, which come together to form a fibrin net during the hemostasis process. The blood clot's formation is held in place by the net and a platelet-type cell until the wound heals. These blood clots can manifest as bruises or scabs on your skin.

Your body produces an enzyme called plasmin to break down the blood clot into small pieces so that it may be removed after your injury has healed and your body no longer requires it. The pieces are referred to as fibrin split-products or fibrin degradation products. One of those fibrin breakdown products is D-dimer.

If you have a blood clotting disorder, blood clots may form even when there isn't an injury and/or they may not dissolve as they ought to. In other words, your body's natural blood clotting mechanism isn't functioning properly. Blood coagulation disorders can be serious and even fatal.
