| Test Procedure |
1.Collect the sample of feline’s fresh serum or plasma from blood.
2.Take out the FIV Antibody Rapid Test Device from the foil pouch and position it on a flat, clean surface.
3.Place 1 drop of the specimen (10µl) into the sample “S” of the FIV Antibody Rapid Test Device., then followed by 3 drops of assay buffer ( 80µl).
4.Results will be shown 5-10 minutes.

Being FIV-positive does not imply having feline AIDS . The FIV Antibody Rapid Test Device detects antibodies in your cat's blood caused by infection with the feline immunodeficiency virus. An FIV-positive diagnosis indicates that your cat has been infected with the virus, but it may be years, if ever, before your cat exhibits the clinical indications of feline AIDS.
| Are the other cats in my house in danger? |
Other cats in your home could have been infected and should be tested with our FIV Antibody Rapid Test Device . Normal social interaction between cats, such as grooming, is unlikely to spread FIV, thus your other cats may be FIV-negative when tested. However, a FIV-positive cat poses a risk to other cats.
