Collect fresh urine in a dry, clean container.

Before testing, combine the sample of uncentrifuged urine.

 At the time of testing, the sample shouldn't be older than 4 hours.

 Always handle specimens in a clean environment.

3. Take out the Strip from the bottle only just before using it for testing.

4. After removing the reagent strip, promptly and securely replace the cap.

B) For reagent strips that are packaged in individual foil packs: 1. Remove the strip from the foil pouch only just before use.

2. Maintain storage temperatures below 30 °C.

3. Keep the bottle out of direct sunlight.

4. Avoid keeping in a fridge.

Don't use after the expiration date.

6. Don't touch the URS-3 Urine Test Strip test areas.

1. Pass a fresh strip through a urine stream for just a few seconds after dipping the test patch into a urine sample.

2. Wipe up any excess with a fresh tissue or paper towel.

3. The outcomes of exposure to urine for one minute can be compared (colour changes occuring after 1 minute are of no diagnostic value)
