When the control line(C) appears, it means that the test unit is working well.
2. How soon can I read my results?
For drugs other than GHB, You can read your results after 5 minutes as long as a red line or pink colored line has appeared next to the control region(C), do not read results after 10 minutes.For GHB strip, you can read the results at 10 minutes by comparing the test area with the
color card on the foil pouch, do not read results after 15 minutes.
3. How to read the test if the color and the intensity of the lines are different?
The color and intensity of the lines have no importance for result interpretation. The test should be considered as negative whatever the color intensity of the test line (T) is.
4. What Is a False Positive Test?
A false positive test result means the drug is not present but shows detected by the device.The most common causes of a false positive test are cross reactants.
Allow the test Device, drink specimen, and/or controls to equilibrate to room temperature (15-30C) prior to testing.
1. Equilibrate the test device, drink specimens or external controls to room emperature (15-30°C) prior to testing.
2. Remove the specimen collector from the sealed bag and insert the end of the specimen collector into the drink for at least 3 seconds or Pour the drink onto the end of the specimen collector to collect drink specimen.
3. Remove the test device from the sealed pouch and put the device onto a level surface.
4. Insert the end of the specimen collector vertically downwards into the test device until the collector is fully inserted into the detection device.
5. Read the results at 5 minutes to 10 minutes.
6. For GHB Test, if applicable, read the results at 10 minutes by comparing the color in test area with color card on the package insert. Do not interpret the results after 15 minutes.
