The Urea UR Test Strip is the major end product of protein metabolism in body, and urea measurements are used in the diagnosis various kidney diseases such as nephritis and renal insufficiency.
The Urea Test Strip use a timed-endpoint method to measure the Urea (UR) concentrations in whole blood, serum or plasma. The system monitors the change in absorbance at 620 nm at a fixed-time interval. The change in absorbance is directly proportional to the concentration of metabolite in the specimen.
