PSA exists in the prostate endoplasmic reticulum, prostate epithelial cells and secretions. Prostatic inflammation, benign prostatic hyperplasia, and acute urinary retention can increase PSA. As a specific marker for prostate cancer, PSA can be used for the diagnosis of prostate cancer and post-treatment monitoring, but it cannot be used as a basis for early diagnosis or diagnosis of malignant tumors. At the same time, PSA testing kits are not suitable for cancer screening in the general population.

(1) Using pipette, transfer 100μl of the serum/plasma sample into the detection buffer tube, and mix the sample thoroughly. (The mixed samples must be used immediately.)

(2) Using pipette, transfer 100μl of the mixed samples into the sample well of the PSA Test Kit card.

(3) After transferring the mixed samples, wait for 12 minutes.

(4) For scanning, put the card on the card holder of analyzer and push inside till the end. Ensure proper orientation of the test card before pushing into the card holder. An arrow has been marked on the test card especially for this purpose.

(5) Click button "Start" on the analyzer to start the scanning process.

(6) Read the test result on the display screen of PSA test.

2. Linear range

The linear range is from 2 ng/mL to 100 ng/mL with correlation coefficient of the standard curve not less than 0.9900.

3. Accuracy

Parallelly testing with quality control material of 4 ng/mL and 50 ng/mL PSA, each for 3 times, Bias% ≤ 15%.

4. Repeatability

Parallelly testing of PSA Test Kit with quality control material of 4 ng/mL and 50 ng/mL PSA, each for 10 times, CV ≤ 15%.

5. The isocheimal reaction of the paired antibody

A group of samples with different ratios of free PSA and PSA-ACT complexes with the same total PSA concentration, the deviation of the results ≤ 15%.
